Price named vice chairman of Sunset Commission

Amarillo state Rep. Four Price has been appointed vice chairman of the Sunset Advisory Commission.

The joint legislative panel evaluates the performance of about two dozen state agencies each legislative cycle and makes recommendations to the Texas Legislature.

“I am honored to be selected as vice chair of the Sunset Advisory Commission and to work again with this important body,” Price said after House Speaker Joe Straus promoted him to the panel of five House members, five senators and two private residents.

Rep. Four Price Encourages Texans To Protect Themselves This Flu Season

Amarillo, TX --- As part of National Influenza Vaccination Week, State Representative Four Price has joined Texas pharmacists, health care organizations, and other legislators to encourage Texans to protect themselves against the flu by getting vaccinated. Peak flu season in Texas
runs December through February.
