ABOUT FOUR
Four Price is a fourth generation Texan and a native of Amarillo. His Panhandle roots run deep, as his great grandfather, Jesse Benjamin Latham settled his young family in Carson County in 1917 before relocating to Amarillo. The Latham and the Price families were role models to young Four, and he grew up understanding the value of serving his community and his church.
Together, Four and wife, Karen Mayfield Price, have four children; Brooke, 20, is a sophomore at The University of Texas, Cody, 18, is a Senior at San Jacinto Christian Academy, Abby, 14, and Curry, 12, both attend Lorenzo de Zavala Middle School.
Both Four and Karen are active in the community. Four is currently serving as a director of the Amarillo Economic Development Corporation, is President of the Amarillo Area Bar Association and is a Director of Cal Farley's Boys Ranch Foundation. He is a member and former Deacon at The First Presbyterian Church of Amarillo and a former Director of the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center. He is a Life Member of the University of Texas Ex-Student Association. He is also a member of the National Rifle Association of America and the Texas State Rifle Association.
Four currently serves as Co-Managing Shareholder of the law firm Irwin, Merritt, Hogue, Price & Carthel, P.C. He previously practiced law with Mullin, Hoard & Brown LLP in Amarillo and with Fulbright & Jaworski LLP in San Antonio, Texas. Four served as a judicial law clerk and briefing attorney for The Honorable Mary Lou Robinson of Amarillo as well. Four understands business issues, often counsels business clients and in the early '90's was the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the First National Bank of Amarillo. Prior to attending law school, Four was a Commercial and Corporate Credit Analyst with a commercial bank.
Four is an active outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting, fishing, snow skiing and running.
