Maintaining a low tax and predictable regulatory environment will keep Texas open for business.  I support the capitalist and entrepreneurial spirit that sets Texas apart and makes our great state a business leader and technological pioneer.  I do not want to see advances we have recently made eroded.  Promoting individual responsibility and limiting government interference will allow our businesses to flourish.  I will protect our free enterprise system and allow Texans the opportunity to be competitive and prosperous.  Additionally, strengthening and supporting agriculture will benefit Texas.  As your State Representative, I pledge to emphasize the important role agriculture plays in our State’s economy and keep Texas agriculture at the forefront of our State’s economic future.
